Based on the St. George Peninsula, Hedgerow Design specializes in fine gardening and creative landscape design for the coast of Maine. The company's principal designer is Anne E. Cox, who earned her Master's of Landscape Architecture at the University of Michigan in 1984. Working with co-owner Julie Wortman and the experienced and energetic Hedgerow crew, Cox has been designing, installing and maintaining residential gardens and landscapes in midcoast Maine since 1998. She is a specialist in working with the deep structure of a site and exercises an imaginative approach to landscape design.
Hedgerow projects have ranged from re-design of established gardens to large-scale design and installation schemes. The company has a proven track record of success in working with clients to develop landscape strategies that reflect and deeply satisfy their personal aesthetic tastes and goals. Hedgerow is also experienced in working with the special challenges of island projects.
Each season, Cox and Wortman work diligently to assemble a crew of which they can be proud -- gardeners who are energetic, knowledgeable, positive and quality-conscious.
