Hedgerow Studio

Hedgerow Studio is where Anne Cox creates her distinctive, one-of-a-kind rustic furniture and fences. In the summer, co-owner Julie Wortman transforms Cox's studio barn into a furniture gallery that also showcases the work of other local artists and craftspeople working in fiber, clay, wood and mixed media. Cox has also begun making hooked rugs, pillows, and furniture cushions of her own design using Martinsville's natural environs as her subject matter.
The studio barn/gallery is located on the grounds of Hedgerow Gardens at Mosquito Cove in Martinsville, Me., at the corner of Route 131 and Ridge Rd., about halfway between the villages of Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde on the St. George peninsula.
In 2008, the gallery will be open Friday–Sunday, 8am to 5pm (except Sunday, 8am-noon) from May through September and by appointment.
